Breednet hit the road last week for the Victorian stallion parades and photographer Grant Courtney took some great images at several of the big parades including Swettenham Stud, who have an exciting new addition this year in flashy Frankel G1 winning miler Diego Velazquez (IRE).
Diego Velazquez is familiar to being the centre of attention having made 2.4million guineas at the 2022 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 and he was happy to be back in the spotlight last Thursday.
Swettenham is also home to champion Victorian sire Toronado (IRE), who was jumping out of his skin to start the new breeding season.
Also on parade were Wooded (IRE), Lofty Strike and I Am Immortal, all three by champion sires Wootton Bassett, Snitzel and I Am Invincible.
